What should we wear?

Nancy Rue on her blog In Real Life has an interesting post discussing this verse: 

"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;" 1 Timothy 2:9 (King James Version)

What do you think this means? How should we interpret this in our lives?
