Accomodating

~Friday for Friends~

Continuing the Friday for Friends post series, we have the word "accommodating". It means "ready to help; willing to please; obliging" (Webster's dictionary, 1993).

We should be ready to help our friends. I don't mean we should drop everything each time or that obliging everyone is what we should live for (because sometimes we insecure people think that). What I DO mean is that helping is something great to do, be it with our actions, time, words or silence.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 (NIV)

And of course, God has helped us way beyond what we can imagine. He DIED for us. He is the best Friend we will ever have.

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 (NIV)

Isn't it great?

By the way, HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
