Being patient even when it's hard

Being patient is sometimes the last thing we want to do. (S)he has driven us so nuts (s)he definitely deserves a good yell, right?

Wrong. Why? Because -

 Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. Proverbs 16:32 (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 1 Corinthians 13:4 (NIV)

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2 (NIV)

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:14 (NIV)

God is patient with us, so let's try to be patient with others too. Even when it's hard.
