Never too many mistakes

~Monday Movies & Music~

Unspoken's song "Who You Are" (lyrics) is a gentle reminder that we can never mess up too much that God won't see us through.

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”[a]" Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

How about you? Do you ever feel like you have made too many mistakes for God to love you?

  1. I've felt that way too much. God's so good. He loves us even after all the mistakes we've made. It doesn't matter how bad it is. I mean Jesus would have forgiven Hitler if he asked. He loves us so much and even though sin separates us from him, he died to give us a way back. I love that. <3 Then, he rose again. He keeps his promises.

    2. It's so amazing. I understand why people think it's too good to be true. It is so unfathomable! I know I'd be dead without him. I'm serious, he saved my life and my soul. He's such a good friend. He'll never reject us or abandon us like others of this world. He's a lifelong friend. <3

  2. I love that song! It's such a fantastic and beautiful reminder. :)

    The funny thing is I didn't used to think I was that bad. But over the summer, I've encountered certain situations in which I came face to face with my own heart full of sin, and that was honestly really wrecking for me. Sometimes, I do have to stop and remind myself that, even though I am a sinful human being, He loves me. And nothing's going to change that. :)

    1. Alexa, you mentioned two very important truths. Yes, we should definitely acknowledge that we are not at all sinless. But then we should also remember that our Savior is someone who loves us despite all of the sins we've made. :)
